Hinged ventilated facades - one of the most recent tendencies in the sphere of construction.
Ventilated facades appeared in Russia relatively short ago, but there is already considerable experience of using them in public, administrative and industrial buildings, as well as in the course of reconstruction of apartment houses.
A ventilated facade is a construction, consisting of the following:
- external wall of the building;
- insulation layer made of mineral wool;
- carrying under-facade construction;
- external screen (siding element).
The main element of a ventilated facade is an air gap between the slab and the wall.
